i have installed ubuntu 11.04 64bit on my laptop. recently i am facing a
problem with file transfer to the usb drive as it takes a long time to
transfer.problem is like, in the start the copying speed is like 17mb/s and
after copying around 300mb it gradually drops

I too thought this was a glitch and without the explanation from John
Lea I'd never guessed this is supposed to be a frozen glass effect that
gives the dash some depth.

We'll add a recommends of gvfs-bin to gvfs, so that this will work for
all desktops using gvfs (GNOME, XFCE, etc.), without pulling gvfs into
e. g. Kubuntu.
