When I start the player in Oneiric, Beta 1, the Menubar seems to
disappear, but in throws a thick black shadow. My impression is, that
the player-window is displayed over the menubar, compressed to a height
of 1 pixel or so.
The indicator icon appears, but doesn't respond to
Some more Information I just gathered:
- The window normally displayed when using alt+tab is also invisible (but
app-switching works)
- If I move the mouse to the left screen edge and klick, unity behaves like the
taskbar would be visible (e.g. starts an application)

DatabaseError, probably because the index is corrupted.

Mikkel: it's worth speaking to Rosie about this. Xi made a very good
point that people using translated/untranslated interfaces are still
able to navigate on the basis of predictable spatial locations (ie.
third item on the right) even when the interface language doesn't match.
