Same happened with a DVD-R. The ISO image is 4706660352 bytes. Brasero
refuses to burn it in a Verbatim DVD-R.
K3B burns it correctly and reports

writing a text on Libreoffice Writer. At the time the crash occurred, I
was writing, did not clicked anywhere on the panel, volume and so on.

It seems that if firefox starts maximised and then is reduced to a
normal window the bar is missing. If it starts as a window the bar is
there. Firefox seems to want to always start maximised even though I
almost never use it that way.

The ubuntu-mods.js file from xul-ext-ubufox resets
middlemouse.contentLoadURL to 'false' when Firefox starts with this
extension enabled.
The attached patch resolves the problem for me.

The package xul-ext-ubufox contains the extension which causes this
behavior. The ubuntu-mods.js file resets middlemouse.contentLoadURL to
'false' when Firefox starts with this extension enabled.

Try setting the screen turn-off to 'Never' and then stop moving the
mouse. For me, it would immediately start to go dim as though I had it
set to 0 sec instead of Never.
