Hi,
I have just reinstalled Lucid, and this time I did not install the
Samsung Linux drivers, but used the ones the distro comes with. Now
printing is faster, much faster.
I guess there is something wrong with the Samsung drivers.
So, forget my contribution to this bug.

Trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 on my computer this evening and found
that after choosing the language, enabling download updates and third-
party software, the installer basically slows to a stop during this. No
apparent activity or anything. It just stops.
