When starting cheese, I see images like the attached file: Nearly all color is
missing, are the existing color has lots of artifacts and is shifted.

From what I can see from the logs, it seems you had gnome-shell
installed in 11.04. It may be that unistalling it will allow you to
complete the upgrade, you can always install it back if you want once
the upgrade has been completed.

Hi, I also have Boot hangs at Booting system without full network
configuration... problem. Deleting /var/run/dbus/pid is the only way
for me to reboot. I also had to remove the sleeps from
/etc/init/failsafe.conf to get more normal booting time, otherwise it
just waits even though the dbus pid is

Tested with 3.0.0-12.20, this issue still exists. And after applying the
patches on top of 3.0.0-12.20, this issue is gone.
