We also found this problem: the PHP cron launches one fuser for each PHP
session file, and the process is never reaped (remains in defunct
state)
Workaround for PHP is to remove the fuser check, which was only added
11.10 anyway.

As Requested the contents of var\log\dist-upgrade. There are sub folders
I have not included but these appear to be log files of the multiple

Hello everyone,
I can confirm that upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 effectively solved this
problem on my T420 and in another one of a colleague. Unfortunately the
upgrade also removed some of the software I use the most (Lotus Notes)
meaning that I'm back to Windows :(

hi. Check all the files in /etc/ld.so.conf.d and /etc/X11/Xsession.d . It you
added a line that ruins everything..I think that this is the place to look for.
Either that or make a vbox with ubuntu with a fresh install and replace these
two directories with original ones ;).

config.pl.
If you just upgraded BackupPC, please update

Evolution 3.x has changed in the POP Receiving Options to have the
Leave Messages On Server selection linked to the Days value. In
Evolution 2.x (and probably previous versions) these options were
separate.

Drag n drop through thunderbird and folder, and through launcher and
thunderbird don't work, in natty it works well.
I open thunderbird, i start a new mail, i go to a folder, I take a file and I
try to drag n drop this file in the new mail
Well, I mean sleep/suspend or what it is called, using the Z-button, in
a low power state and then I wake it up by touching a key. Which
component might be involved in this? I could not see any errors in the
log files.

There is no fglrx-modaliases any more. Try to choose recovery mode in
Grub and then just resume. Maybe you should wait until the new fglrx is
in repositories.
