I had the same problem in my Lazarus application. Finally, I solved it.
You have to set LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR to 0 directly in your lazarus app.
This has to be done before widget set is inicialized. So I created a
unit called uScrollBars.pas and add it into initialization section.

That one was missing. I had ia32libs installed, which was previously

Hi, I can confirm that with your package the high CPU load and the
associated gray trail have gone. Now the theme looks only a little

When setting up a proxy in network-settings:
1. It does not work with firefox
2. No profiles available as in gnome 2 proxy settings
3. No checkbox Use http proxy for all other protocols)
4. That whole dialog is a piece of shit

Shutting down the computer from Unity logs me out (or crashes, hard to
tell) to lightdm. Attempting to shut down from lightdm does nothing at
all. This is a fresh Oneiric installation (not an upgrade) on Lenovo
W510, with free software drivers (Nvidia Quadro 880FX)

we cannot create the patched kernel since we don't have the fix
since the link is broken only 11.04 is fixed, I am running 11.10 now and
I am afflicted again by the bug.
I frankly don't understand why this bug is still not fixed, it was reported in
August, the fix was released shortly after
