sound was great, but after upgrading the sound is all distorted with
crackling noises. Right after a reboot the sound is fine and will stay

Thanks a lot for the comments. I had mistakenly installed a wrong version and
now the touchpad works fine. Even Fn+F3 disables the touchpad as expected.
There are a few issues like two-finger zoom and the touchpad LED (supposed to
