I did a fresh install of Oneric.
when clicking on the shutdown or restart, It just logs me out. after
uninstalling the hsqldb-server the restart and the shutdown works fine. But I
don't have this issue on my laptop (Dell Vostro with ATI chipset ).

Having the same issue with alarm-clock-applet using Oneiric. It is also
set as a startup program. The Window is movable though by pressing
ALT+LEFT_MOUSE. Don't know if this is still an issue in unity 5. Will

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 dev and sometimes I'm seeing zombie processes
which are using no virtual memory and not closing. They will only close
if their parent process closes. For example if I start lxterminal and
opening htop I will see that there are 2 lxterminal processes. One
I was also receving this error whilst trying to run LibreOffice 3.4.4 on
Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.
I found the solution was to delete the hidden folder ".libreoffice" from
the home directory and then restart LibreOffice.
I hope it works for other people.
