Searching 1177 titles should take less than 1 second, even reading them
off disk. It's not wishlist to say that 10+ seconds is too slow.
ls can read the directory contents in 0.033s. If you're telling me that
it waits to display items until it has also scanned

I have just had a reoccurrence of this problem.
I am uploading the following files PRIOR to manually changing the resolution
back to 1280x800:
- monitors.xml
- Xorg.0.log
- Xorg.0.log.old
I am also attaching a screenshot to illustrate the problem.

I would like to report that inserting a USB sound card and switching to
that will eliminate the issue. I know it isn't a solution to the
problem, but is a temporary workaround till a fix is made.

I fixed it, it works for me with Net::DBus v1.0.0, can you confirm it works for
you too by testing with this file :

org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.GetAll method,
