I am marking this as Invalid, as in the latest releases of Ubuntu (Oneiric and
Precise) when closing the Software sources dialog, it does not request
reloading, thus it will not have any problems if there is a lock. I have tried
by opening Synaptic (to create the lock) and software sources from
still ftonend0 and net0 missing,...

Just a quick note to add some additional log info. The attached log is
on song change to flac (14:53), the track loads but does not play.
Moving the position slider forward then back to beginning of song start

I am running the latest nvidia beta driver 295.17 and Kubuntu 11.10 with
KDE 4.8.0. My card is nvidia geforce go 7400. Same problem here.
Only temporary solution for me was restarting x or restarting the
computer.

device to the serial port of my machine and turn it on, the machine
restarts. It happens on all serial port applications like gtkterm,
- cutecom, etc. I think its a bug with the serial port driver

Sorry; I was not aware that the maximize button was still available in
Unity, because Compiz ignores the command to remove it.
