I think it would be sufficient to come up with a new binary metapackage
called "c-developer-tools" that pulled in these packages: "autoconf,
manpages-dev, doxygen, yasm, ccache, distcc, build-essential".
That should pull in a sufficient amount of documentation and tools to
help an aspiring develop

Outside of playing a utube video, it happens when scrolling in firefox

I believe I'm getting the same error. When I open a video using totem in
precise I get a crash and the login-screen/lightdm is shown. I'm sure
apport is enabled but no crash report is generated in /var/crash/. My
hardware is a AMD E350 (CPU+GPU) with an integrated Radeon HD 6300.

This isn't a grub menu, that's the gfxboot menu that you see right after
booting from the CD, assuming we have that on powerpc.
If you don't have a text based language/keyboard/option selection screen
before booting the CD, then that means that this testcase doesn't apply
to powerpc.

thing.
This way the sentence would work for any of the flavours, even these
that don't use the picture in the screensaver or use it on the login
screen.
I'm
you can tab between sections and use cursors to move about in a section,
but if you cursor up or down out of the section you are on it crashes.
