This is because the human theme hasn't been ported to GTK3 so, while
xfce is still GTK2 (and works fine with the theme), any applications
from GNOME3 (or anything else using GTK3) won't be themed.
If I find the spare time to do this, I might port it myself, as I still
use the human theme as well
I aggree in that this message should at least state which client is
responsible for this error. Like this it is impossible to debug and find
out what is causing this issue.

updates and third part software, and I can reproduce the bug, in a real
hardware.
I've run sudo apt-get update then executed update-manager that installs a new

1) Start Lubuntu Software Center.
2) Search for a package you don't have installed (I've used vlc and firefox).
3) Click Installed Software. It shows you all the packages installed on your
system as it should.

Confirmed that locks up when hit continue after filling in Who are
you? form in installer (installing with everything checked- extras and
non-free). Affects both upgrade and new install (tried both). Just spins
after continue is clicked and seems to stop copying files. Used
