Applications shouldn't retain grabs while they have modal dialogs open.
This is what seahorse is doing. The fact that is works on metacity is a
fluke because seahorse is deciding not to take a grab in the particular
focus path that metacity uses. Seahorse is also

Jason got the issue. Maybe Jason can have a look at fixing it then?

When using the dash, right-click on Dash Home button sometimes results
in a quicklist that is unreadable as in the attached screenshot. This
seems to depend on which lens is being viewed at the time of accessing
the quicklist. It never happens if I'm in the Files Folders,
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I believe I know why this was happening. When I did aptitude safe-
upgrade manually there was a package (grub) that asked for a question
interactively. I guess that was the broken package that the cron job
complained about.
