The gnome-subtitles package in Ubuntu is missing a dependency on
libmono-i18n4.0-all. The original debian package has already been
updated but it hasn't been synchronized yet to Ubuntu. Until that
happens, the easy fix will be to manually install libmono-i18n4.0-all.
That should fix your problem.
I upgraded my system from Ubuntu 11.10 to Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 2 using
update-manager -d and I am not facing this issue.
Is this issue affecting only fresh installations ???

Which drivers do you use? If I remember right, color printing is slow by
Samsung CLP-315W, if you use Samsung's proprietary SPL-C driver, which may give
you better colors than other drivers.
Recommended open source driver for CLP-550 is different from the one
recommended for CLP-315, though:
