I cannot confirm this in the latest Kubuntu Precise Beta in VirtualBox
for German anymore. But I'm not so sure. That's why I assign this bug to
Ubuntu Translators so they can confirm this or not.

Ubuntu 9.10 and Hardy as well are very old. Does the problem still exist
on Natty, Oneiric or Precise Beta? Could you please elaborate on what
exactly the bug is? Is about a failed install or a translation issue?

NB: This is due to a well-known problem: /usr/bin/idle does not open any
windows itself; rather, it is a script that tells python to open
windows. For example, xprop gives
