* I click the "Start"-button in Lubntu -> Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse ->
Keyboard-tab. I adjust the sliders and click OK. I repeat the process and
notice that the sliders are back to their orig
Unfortunately it still isn't there for Hebrew. I attached a screen dump where I
have cropped it to show the right hand side of screen 1 and all of screen 2.

where it would have been more logical to be on the right hand sid

@Joseph, sure - no problem. Interestingly, although the Oneiric kernel
seems fine, apport-gpu-intel.py keeps popping up after booting. It
doesn't seem to properly succeed, though, so maybe it's picking up
previous indicators somehow (no idea how it works)

This is another of these "designer" disease that's plaguing all our
desktops ... I don't seem to find a single theme that doesn't otherwise
suck and has the arrows still there with gtk 3 apps.

Ok. Rebooting, reformatting with a 200 MB ext2 /boot, and re-running the
installer gives the same error. Trying to get it to install grub on
/boot or / also quits with a fatal error. Am now going to try rebooting
again and letting Ubuntu choose my partition scheme.

Not that it is a lot of help but this bug also affects me and installing

I found that switching "Backlight Mode" to "Backlight And Edge

I'll attach a screenshot. None of the volumes that show the "eject"
button are mounted. I do, however, have a volume mounted under
/media/torrent_drive that does not show in thunar unless I go to the
/media directory.

Same issue, 12.04 LTS, all updates installed. I can login to the bash via
consoles F1..F6, but with lightdm I've got described problem.
