The apport info was run after I had installed the nvidia recommended
driver. Also I amended grub to remove splash and enable text console
(yes, I have been having fun...). If you need me to revert to the
original post install state, please let me know and I will try to get

I am getting the same error. It fails on line 3 of my build.gradle
file, which is apply plugin: 'eclipse'.
If I remove this line, then the error goes away. I have libgradle-ide-

immediately when it loads. Only occassionally it doesn't - I'm actually
writing this bug in Firefox as I can't seem to get Chromium to stay up.

The guys at irc.freenode.org #ubuntu think this might be a problem with
processes not terminating properly.
If this is the case, it makes sense. The reboot signal is given, most
processes are terminated, but for some reason something just refuses to
terminate, leaving the system to hang, waiting

What happens :
With gnome-shell, a popup saying I have X message, then again, with the
ability to respond. If I open the bottom-right hand notification area, it shows
the person's avatar and the number of missed im's. It also creates a new icon
for empathy itself that

I used alsa-dkms driver with Oneiric, and mics do work correctly. I had
clean sound, and two different devices (internal and external) with

After upgrade, mic
i guess since killing and restarting gnome-settings-daemon makes it work
again until the fn + display keys are used again, that the package
should be gnome-settings-daemon

also, i'm using fglrx display driver from the ubuntu repos.
The problem didn't happend in 11.10 (I upgraded from an original 11.10
install). In 11.10, the volume keys always worked, but I didn't get any
visual or audio feedback when using them.
