My MIS-X370 has a sentelic touchpad, is running 12.04 with 3.2.0-24.39, so the
touchpad should work, but side scrolling is not working. Side scrolling does
work a little: when moving my finger, both the cursor move and the screen is
scrolling, but both very jerky.

Are you able to reproduce this on Precise?
I attempted using the directions provided, but on ejecting the first
disc, rb cleared itself. The second cd was detected and loaded ok.
There have been some significant changes to the section of glib2.0 code
this bug hit, perhaps it already got fixed up

rhythmbox crashed with SIGFPE in g_hash_
I also had this issue when trying out the OpenVPN feature of NetworkManager -
to test if it would be a good alternative to using openvpn directly.
(I have re-installed the system to go from 32 to 64 bit, therefore I cannot try
to debug this anymore.)

I had same problem (Samsung CLP-325W as wireless). It was working on
11.10 but after installing clean 12.04, I couldn't get printer working.
After too many tries I found this bug report. Then i enabled precise-
proposed and installed the updated cups. After rebooting cups, printer
and reinstalling
the issue was fixed in debian in 2006, I guess it was forwarded to fltk
upstream. You have to ask the debian maintainer about this.
If upstreams provide tools that mess with the distributions infrastructure it
is well within its right to touch them.
