MyPaint doesn't even use the history buffer, or at least it doesn't

This happens from time to time, not always, apparently at random.
From the dropdown menu with a power-on/off-like icon on the top-right
corner of the screen in ubuntu I select Hibernate. Instead of
hibernating, it simply locks screen (the same as when you select
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

This is not KPackageKit bug, it's a known packagekit-backend-apt bug which will
NEVER be fixed...
The apt backend had too many bugs so I wrote a backend called aptcc (package
packagekit-backend-aptcc) which is now the official apt backend, so please use
it and update to a more recent distro

#. Plug in a USB pen drive or insert a CD
#. Wait for device icon to appear in the launcher
Drag and drop it into the trash icon
