Found a solution, which is crappiest but... use the horrible Unity
switcher, I was using Compiz Ring switcher, changed back to Unity and
now the problem doesn't occur. I needed something with a app preview but
I guess I'll have to conform to the Unity stuff.

Plugin fails to
Confirmed on my system, 12.04 32-bit, NVIDIA chipset for video.Mouse and
keyboard quit sporadically requiring hard reboot. Tried with both
Logitech wireless USB set and with separate wired USB devices. Times and
activity suggest random crashes.

Found the same issue. Fresh install 12.04, brand new HP machine loaded.
When configuring a Open VPN connection using Network Manager, you cannot
save the parameters you input. The save button is always "greyed out".
