Using Ubuntu 12.04 I had the same issue when Pidgin was locked in the launcher.
The workaround I found was to open Pidgin from the Message menu on top and lock
it again to the Launcher.

FG_ROOT: /usr/share/games/flightgear
Scenery: /usr/share/games/flightgear/Scenery
up until that version it was described (with two capital letters):
FG_ROOT: /usr/share/games/FlightGear
Scenery: /u

The second monitor (screen) is unstable. Sometimes works ok, but in many
opportunities the screen is in green with some shadows that you identify
the apps.
My graphic card is Radeon ATI 1550.
