1. I've installed mdadm in live system, then created Linux Software RAID
with this command:

then formated /dev/md0 with ext4

output gets dumped to right after boot, just grep in there instead of
piping teh dmesg output to grep ...

I don't know how they got in the state, but two applications
(Thunderbird and TortoiseHG) got very stuck in fullscreen mode (not just
maximized, but 100% of my LCD). No amount of F11, maximize, moving,
rebooting, etc. would unstick them. I worked around it by editing
config files
I am running Linux Mint 13 Mate 64-bit edition. When I run aptitude
update I still only see Compiz 1:0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1.4. Am I supposed to
see a more recent Compiz version such as 0.9.8.0?

It works with libsdl1.2.15.

Probably this is the change that solved it (I didn't test all the different
versions to find out which one it is exactly):
I've test 3.2.0-30.48 on highbank machine. Reboot for several times, all
of them goes smoothly and finish in 30 sec. The regression is gone.

in the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf . The cloud images do this
automatically, but since you are building your images with vmbuilder,

In some events, the same user can end up being listed twice in
authentication dialogs. I believe this has something to do with toggling
an account type in the User Accounts settings panel, but I have been

Title:
smsc75xx driver is missing from the ubuntu-installer
Ubuntu 12.04, (also Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha), does not shut down if KAlarm is
running. Instead of shuting down, a message appears sayng that a program is
still running. If I have not KAkarm runnig, the PCm (amd64 powered), shuts down
properly.
