install unity.
After logging off all users I tested the new package.

Opening error' yes.pdf from nautilus results in a file not found error.
The same file can be opened successfully with the evince error\'\ yes.pdf
command from a terminal.

About kernel bisection, I think I haven't enough knowledge to do it.
I installed some older kernel versions, till 3.0.0.12 without solving the
