Why is this bug marked as incomplete . This is a real problem that
continues to happen to me on my x201 running 12.04. The only way around
fixing it is
1. unload and reload the iwlwifi kernel module
2. reboot the machine
3. turn the wifi switch off for 30 seconds (so the kernel module gets

already mentioned splitting off ubuntu-sso-client bug 1050061 for the
more common case here (#3).

This is a regression on 12.10 beta1 + daily updates. Tested on a
Lenovo X220i and a Dell Inspiron 6400.
In the Brightness and Lock settings, I un-tick the Dim screen to save
power option and set the Turn screen off when inactive for: to

Debian/squeeze got xpdf 3.02-12+squeeze1 with libpoppler5 - this works.
Also, evince is good only for copypasting text. It got antialiasing always on,
which is useless and eye-straining unless PDF is blurry (e.g. a bad scan)
