reports the first kernel that has the bug is v3.4 final.

unity-lens-video crashed with GError in function(): The URI
It is not clear to me what changing the security means. The bug itself
is not neccessarily a security issue. The workaround might be. If HTTPS
doesn't work, would anyone suggest HTTP for online banking?

for the desktop the line in jack and the mic jack at rear panel can be
retasked as output to support 5.1
but you need to find out the pin complex of the internal speakers and
set the correct pin default by pin fixup or early patching so that the
driver know that the notebook has 6 speakers
