After upgrade to quantal, which I believe caused an upgrade in mesa from
8.x to 9.0, I can no longer use googleearth. Previously, it worked

After some testing with various backgrounds it seems that the delay is
always specific to each background image and I was unlucky enough to
select the worst of them which is the one with the wafer/processors

After an upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10, indicator-session displays my
status as "offline" even when Empathy is open and I am "Available".
The status and indication were in sync for awhile, but after some normal
use I noticed this discrepancy.

I have it working in 12.04 with an external adapter. I have a USB hub.
I bought a Logitech Wireless keyboard, it included a USB bluetooth
adapter. I plugged it in to the USB hub and the keyboard works, I had a
mouse working as well. So it seems the bluetooth in the A500 does not
work but a worka
Its not fixed, same problem in 12.10. Sometimes it displays album art
for everything, but it randomly stops working and stops displaying all
album art. This feature is very inconsistant and broken, it should at
least work reliably with the default player (rhythmbox)

This still happens for me on the released version of Ubuntu 12.10, with
all updates as of October 20. The symptoms are as above - Evolution
"restores" my 1.2 GB of mail and then starts the first-run dialog all
over again.
My backup file was made on a system running Ubuntu 12.04.

I have a rather big image database (18k+) and everytime I start Shotwell my
system (not too shabby) will nearly die.
That's because everything is transferred to Swap while Shotwell is loading and
until all this has unswapped the system is completely unusable.
