Another machine here, x86_64. UPgraded 11.10-12.04-12.10 just now, and the
launcher bar
works perfectly with gnome classic. What the critical differences are
that make one machine not have a usable launcher bar is a mystery to me.

in 12.04 32-bit, I had rdesktop already installed. I did an apt-get
purge rdesktop and apt-get install rdesktop and it made no change in
remmina. I cannot use clipboard services.
