Happened again. Seems to happen less using cinnamon rather than unity. I lost
the syslog on reboot along with 12 files (1GB) from a single directory I was
not using at the time. Usually I only have firefox cache/data and whatever app

Bad string in kubuntu-docs-cli
To manage not
Ok did some digging into the source of the kubuntu-docs package and i'm
not able to find "Editior" at all. Did a grep of graphics.xml and
nothing shows up.
Not quite sure where this is still showing up.
Requesting more information or a screenshot showing this.

It does indeed seem to be a jack detection issue. I connected headphones
to the front panel headphones socket, and sound played through both!
Disconnecting resinstated the previous sound problems.
My quick and dirty hardware workaround has been to open the desktop case
and detach the front panel a
