I have come to the edge of abandoning Thunderbird due to this 9 1/2 year
old bug. People reply to my replies and I see that the format of what I

I got this version from the URL above: 19.0a1 (2012-11-10), and so far
so good. :) It certainly doesn't seem to be doing any harm, and over a
few hours last night, and so far this morning I haven't seen a repeat of
the repetitive downloading. I have now visited every folder on the
problema
Been about 12 hours, no problems with the build in comment #70. No bans
from Gmail and messages aren't re-downloading like before.
~/.thunderbird is at 4.2GB so no overgrowth. All is well so far :)

I second the GMAIL experience. I have about 15,000+ messages in the
INBOX. TB persistently downloaded 3 messages, possibly with large
attachments over and over til I hit the GMAIL daily limits, and drew
2GB+ of usage off my mobile hotspot. Since I was only watching activity
monitor afterwards, I do

@Doug: I just looked and raring has both sets of packages, i e, there is one
package named "gst-plugins-bad0.10" and another named "gst-plugins-bad1.0".
Which one is going to be the default remains to be seen; but the upload to
raring is also a prerequisite to SRUing it into quantal and precise

Accepted gnome-games into quantal-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
games/1:3.6.0.2-0ubuntu1.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed

I have the same problem Ubuntu 12.10 Deja-Dup Version: 24.0-0ubuntu1. My
user backup works fine, but when I try to backup as root the backup ends
up in whatever directory I issued the command from.
