I have the first problem - the display never turns off event though the
screen turns black. However, I'm able to adjust the delay just fine.

I have this problem right now, but not when logging in, but much later (current
uptime is almost 4 days).
The accounts-deamon process is currently taking almost 4g of ram (I have 8g),

The only way to work for me is directly on the CLI type
# nova-compute --connection_type=libvirt
Even if I put connection_type inside /etc/nova/nova.conf does not work!

It always does it if I use the drag and drop method (slower and slower and then
read-only) but when it started doing it I read on a post that copying that way
is an issue that it makes it get real slow and I should try doing it with the
cp command in terminal which is faster copying but still
