Ubuntu 12.04 uses Unity 2D 5.12, and no new version of Unity 2D has been
released since 5.12 in April.

have a Nautilus file transfer going on in the background and I can see
the status of it's progress by looking at the Home folder icon in the

The gcc-snapshot package is over a month behind the current snapshot,
there is regressive bug in that versions fortran compiler that would be
nice to be removed.

comment 7-8 is incorrect. You can test this by removing ALL packages
that satisfy the linux-headers virtual dependency, and watch and nvidia-
current* doesn't get removed. Then try re-installing nvidia-current,
watch as no headers get installed.

There seems to be a generic issue in v3.7 on how much tx traffic out of
the PVM can be handled. I actually can see something similar with Xen
4.2 with dom0 running a Quantal kernel (I know it is a daring

With "xorg-edgers ppa" enabled I get a different behavior.
Ubuntu boot stuck on a black screen with few boot-messages and a moveable white
X11 mouse cursor.
Lightdm itself is not visible. login on tty1 and a lightdm restart works.
