I'm using a Logitech LX5 cordless optical mouse and is recognised (or seems to
be) but get hard time using it:
- single/double click give very erratic results
- select drag is a nightmare: often lost the selected object on the way, or
need several tries before being able to select it

I used automatic boot repair tool under ubuntu 12.10 x64 secure-remix
cause I installed Ubuntu in EFI dual boot with Windows 8 x64 oem preinstalled
on a brand new Asus N76VZ
Not sure it's a real bug
Maybe automatic boot repair tool actions prevented grub auto upgrade to
Verified on Quantal (2.0.2-1ubuntu2).

Reproduced on 1:9.8.1.dfsg.P1-4ubuntu0.4 (Precise).
On Raring, it doesn't crash, but I do get significant (90%) constant
CPU use with the following:
