That happens because apparmor prevents the files from being accessed.
Quick and fast hack is to switch profile to complain mode but this is a
packaging problem.
sudo apparmor_parser -C -r /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.slapd

Trying lubuntu-13.04-20121203 AMD64 Desktop, when I select 'Install Now', I get
a corrupted screen, which is trying to show the 'live' desktop with menu bar
and the 'install Lubuntu' icon. It is
same problem here.
For me the following works:
sudo apt-get install v86d
then add the module uvesafb to /etc/modules.
Then I have framebuffer support and the correct charset.

libserializer looks fine. Build warnings seem safe enough. No
important bugs. In sync. It's too bad it doesn't have a test suite.
Would also be nice if Ubuntu had a bug subscriber.

Okay, so Fn keys do work but the acpi_video0 backlight doesn't. That's
not at all uncommon on Samsung laptops. But there isn't any samsung
backlight.
Can you post the output of running lsmod in a terminal so we can verify
that the samsung-laptop module is actually loaded?

As Brandon mentioned, everyone using precise can find a package with the fix in
my local PPA:
ppa:sil2100/precise
If you have precise-proposed enabled, you'll have to explicitly say that
you want to install version 5.16.0-0ubuntu2~timefix1. Otherwise, a

I'm assigning libfonts-java to security-team for a quick pass, since it
seems to parse the font files themselves.
As for the non-security side of MIR: Although the test suite is run...
it doesn't seem to fail the build if it has errors. It currently seems
to fail but continues anyway.

In the future I suggest people to report bugs directly to Red Hat.
Otherwise you may wait for a fix indefinitely cause Canonical has no
developers upstream.

I was using a CD-RW, not DVD-RW, 650 MB, 4x
I'm not sure, if -format would concern here?
And of coarse on Windows 7 I used the same media and the same burner.
