beacuase usually is closed because of some fails.

Bug 974041 seems like an X server crash, while this involves clients
crashing but X server remains up (although I suspect that after numerous
such client crashes the system's stability in general starts to suffer).
The cases I have encountered have all involved non-full-screen windows,
also.

@Daniel Young: so it sounds like the PPA allowed you to install the
ndiswrapper package, but whatever driver you loaded with ndiswrapper
caused a kernel panic (that's known to happen with ndiswrapper).
I have a hard time believing all of the people reporting this bug really
need/want ndiswrapper t
