I just tested the new libxrandr2 package on precise with X2Go and nx-
libs 2:3.5.0.20.
The kwin crashes are gone, indeed. So far so good. However, the NX
capability of resizing a non-fullscreen desktop session window is
completely gone now.

I have the same problem on this laptop Gigabyte q1585n from Ubuntu 12.04
onwards. I have tried to figure out and solve this many time and
sometime just hope that it would be solved by the team along with other
overheating issues.

13.04 on it.

Three Ubuntu builds
1) 12.04 Working fine except Evolution which has been updated in 12.10 and is
not backwards compatible.
2) 12.10, updated from a 12.04 build.
3) 12.10 Clean install from .iso
Neither 12.10 builds have a working unity/ task bar. Task bar only visable when
gnome-panel
I can confirm the same behavior for Ubuntu 12.10 AMD64 on an ASUS
P8B75-V. My boot drive, sda, is an ssd.
The four mechanical drives run through a single pci/IDE interface.
sda: OCZ-VERTEX4 (1.5) (ssd, not an issue)
sdb: Seagate ST380011A
sdc: Maxtor 6L020L1

Touch pad Doesn't recognise buttons as
I had that same problem, it would crash each time I tried to restart the
network-manager. Finally I restarted it from the root and it worked,
afterwords I could restart for any user, but for some reason the changes
that i had made in interfaces did not show up when executing the
command: ifconfig.
I wasn't able to reproduce the bug on Ubuntu 13.04. However, I had to
use 'sudo usermod -m -d /home/user2 -l user2 user1' instead of the GUI,
since Ubuntu 13.04 no longer includes a GUI for changing the username.

Allan, the version of fglrx in the repo is similar, so I'm wondering why you
didn't just use that?
