I have the same problem as Julien. This is on a Samsung 900x3e a01.
Same error message in dmesg, same output when running synclient and no
mentioning of synaptics in the xorg.0.log.

I've been following up on this at the Lubuntu QA mailing list and it
appears that this effects both Lubuntu and Xubuntu at least as far back
as Oneiric.
I'm not suggesting that Brian change anything regarding this report yet,
but I plan on following up further in Saucy ... it's

others. Turning blur off is only a small improvement to readability.
