I'm getting this error as well, but LibreOffice actually does start
despite the error being displayed in the console.

Yes, I am starting to get annoyed with this... Why was the topic's name
changed in the first place? This should not matter if it deals with
mice or touchpads, it's obvious the users would like to be able to
toggle through their launchbar (apps) by using the mouse wheel OR
touchpad scrolling.

able to remount the root filesystem read-only because rogue processes
refuse to die. This is exceptional, and indicates a bug in those
scripts, *not* in sysvinit for failing to kill them (because believe me,

system to avoid fsck on boot; you can even bypass the fsck altogether
from the boot splash screen. And it would be nearly impossible to
