upgraded from precise-quantal-raring-saucy. The reason is that, in
the precise-quantal upgrade, /etc/init.d/networking is taken over as a
conffile from netbase, and due to an ordering difference on upgrade vs.
new install,
I suspect this is another instance of the same problem, again while
editing Java in Eclipse, although on this occasion I had just paused
from typing

mutes the volume when it gets this keycode. I'll work on the SRU

For those encountering this bug, here is a workaround. Run gnucash from
the command line as follows:
$ UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0 gnucash
This turns off indicator-appmenu for gnucash.
