LibreOffice 4.0.2.2.
When I open the file, it opens with a line of text going right-to-left.
When I press Ctrl-1, it switches to Heading 1 style, but is now going

I get this behaviour under windows also.
It seems to be a combination of the USB controller chipset and the USB3toSATA
chipset in the dock/caddy.
Newer devices seem more reliable.
My laptop is a U270 with NEC USB3. Seems alright for USB3 support, had
many cheap caddies not work with it.
I have
Ubuntu Lucid doesn't ship with an s3ql package, so the used package probably
comes from the S3QL PPA (https://launchpad.net/~nikratio/+archive/s3ql). The
PPA has just been updated to the new 1.15 upstream release which fixes the
problem reported above.
This bug can thus be closed.

Went ahead & did a 32 bit 13.04 install & like I previously mentioned it is
also affected in same manner.
In this case no clue as the python.m4 says if not amd64 it will use the default
of /lib, where that is set no idea
(doesn't seem to be in python.m4, maybe in lib-prefix.m4??

This was resolved for me as you can see in my prior post #26
my initial solution was to add a blacklist for module "rts8139"
New linux kernels mostly solved it and didn't need the blacklist although
sometimes problem reoccurs and i just have to unload that module.
