Title:
This is still an issue for me. It just happened again.
It was impossible to do a smooth restart in any way. I was forced to
login from another machine and 'sudo shutdown -r now'. I first tried
'sudo restart lightdm'. This just blacked the screen.
I am requesting help with this bug, please.
