This issue reappeared in spite of the fact that I had the proposed
updates enabled. Shutdown and suspend started working again when I
changed my NVIDIA driver from nvidia-313-updates (proprietary) to
nvidia-310 (proprietary, tested).

I've got "hacks" all over the place to set proxy settings based on
locations. This would be an ideal feature for Network Travellers.

Elantech clickpad/touchpad lacks multitouc
It is the code relating to ssh tunnel (using python paramico I guess) If
I do not use it - use standard TCP and I start the ssh tunnel manually
then crash will not happen.
