Yes, this bug is now affecting me too. 10.04 fully up-to-date on 18th
July 2013, kernel ver 2.6.32-49.
The problem is not really a crash, but a hang that sometimes recovers.
I managed to grab a gdb trace when it hung, but don't have debug symbols
for most things.

Accepted grub-installer into precise-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-
installer/1.68ubuntu5.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.

There have been a number of kernel updates since the one you reported this
bug against. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the
bug if you are still not able to suspend/resume.
You can update to the latest kernel by simply running the following commands in

I have the same problem.
I really need to restore some files from my backup and it is ending with this
error
librsyncError: librsync error 103 while in patch cycle
There is no file in my backup without .gpg
manuall recovery as suggested is causing the same error message.
