I can confirm as well. I updated the intel drivers and I have a desktop

Could you please verify that this bug is fixed in Saucy? If not, we have
to fix it there at the same time, so that users upgrading in the future
don't get a regression.
Next, see the Ubuntu packaging guide for instructions on how to turn
this patch into something
So it seems part of the problem is that upower forgets to install
/lib/systemd/system-sleep/notify-upower.sh. I just fixed that in the
packaging git. However, systemd-shim does not call these scripts, this
needs to happen until this can work a second time.

The problem can be fixed by deleting all files in that directory, then
doing an apt-get update to regenerate them. So the error alert should
contain a button to try that for you.
