Hi, maybe im late to comment. But i just want to sharing because i get this
problem too. I use ubuntu 12.04 and can not shutdown or restart from lightdm.
To fix this i remove lightdm.
in terminal:
sudo aptget purge lightdm unity-greeter
sudo apt-get install lightdm unity-greeter
sudo usermod -a
Could everyone open a terminal, run:
mono --debug /usr/games/openbve
and paste the output here? (I've tried multiple times to reproduce the bug
unsuccessfully, looking at a backtrace might point out where the error occurs).

I installed Ubuntu 12.04.
Initially there was no problem with sound. However (I'm not sure why), there
was no sound at all coming from the speakers.
I don't get sound even when I connect with headphones.

It seems to have been accepted but is stuck in the queue.
Adding this comment to make sure it gets added to saucy before final
