Aha, thanks for that. I've been trying to find a way to reproduce the
bug and with the help of comment #46 I got one that worked for me:
sudo su -
pacmd list
This will result in an error message and the directory being owned by
root, which screws up further connections.

version. Here is the detailed ChangeLog:
* Cairo-Dock:
- Class: implemented a workaround for Chromium and Google Chrome web apps
(the same as used in Bamf)
- Docks: fixed 2 bugs when
I first thought that I had the same problem as Jarosław Guza but than I
realized that czapa_ols (czapa-ols) is right. When I switch to full

I seem to be having a very similar problem to Angel Guzman Maeso
(shakaran). I also ran valgrind --leak-check=full --show-reachable=yes
skype at the command line, and saw similar errors, ending in a
segmentation fault.
The surprising thing is that Skype seemed to run fine under Ubuntu 13.04
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
** Changed in: systemd-shim (Ubuntu Saucy)
Status: New = Confirmed
