When launching transmission-qt with a remote session, there's nothing to
indicate that the remote connection failed, you can even add a torrent
file, just to notice that nothing's happening in the torrent queue.

I tried, but I am not sure if I got anything useful. It seems that
rather than crashing every time gnome-shell seems to stay in some weird
state, where everything is just white.
