For the S1,S2 failures,
The failures come from firmware not provide _S1 and _S2 objects, so that the
kernel complains about cannot find _S1,_S2 namespace objects that contains the
register values for the sleep state when kernel would like to setup all the
sleep state information. This means
A fresh install with no internet using ubuntu-gnome 13.10 64bit iso
image works fine. Comparing the difference between the ubuntu-gnome iso
and a xubuntu 13.10 64bit iso image, there are several packages missing
from the later:

I got tired of the workaround and reverted to gnome-screensaver which
has since fixed my blank screen w/ mouse issue:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop gnome-screensaver
sudo apt-get remove --purge xscreensaver* sudo apt-get autoremove
I'm now back to a bland blank screen

However on the screen pointer is corrupt.
Simultaneous screen capture and video (with camera) provided. Does this isolate

Both messages are obviously not errors.
It seems that logwatch is just looking for words
temporary workaround for me is:
cat /etc/modprobe.d/bonding.conf
alias netdev-bond0 bonding
alias netdev-bond1 bonding
options bonding mode=4 miimon=100
and reboot

I can confirm this bug.
There is no sound around the hole system... no systemsound, no notifications
etc.
i can´t call somebody because the microphone and the speaker are without any
fuction...
I´m looking forward to a daily useable build for our beloved Nexus 5 ;-)

I switched from IBUS to FCITX for this reason and a few others. ibus
development is slowing down significantly when FCITX is pacing up -
development activity usually predicts future bug number and fix-speed.

jockey-gtk hangs on downloading and installing driver as well
