The issue seems to be that NetworkManager stores the connection
credentials within the keyring, which is not available at the Unity
greeter. Once logged in, the keyring is available to NetworkManager and
hence nm-applet will not ask for credentials again.

For what it's worth, the same thing happens in Linux 3.2.0-59-generic
i686; I don't have any older kernels still in place on either system to
see if it goes farther back than that.

I think the bug has nothing to do with xsp it is the mis configuration
of the mono_server4 i tested the fix on ubuntu 14.04 LTS trusty (final
release on 17 april) . The stack trace also shows that when mono-mono
server ask mono to compile the asp.net page, mono can not find the
classes that are

No. I encountered the problem in 12.04 and used boot-repair to fix it. I
couldn't do that again since boot-repair has not been released for
14.04. I never registered a bug before so I don't know what happens
next. If someone emails me with a fix I will forward it to you.
Please reopen. This is not solved in Ubuntu 14.04!

Every time i login there's only the 640 x 480 resolution, and with my
monitor and using the nvidia drivers a 1024 x 768 would be better, but
it doesn't appear in the dropdown list. I can manually change this with
- grup by launching 'vbeinfo 1024 x 768' and it works
