I searched for the issue with the not starting mythtvbackend and found
an answer that the config.xml should be modified.

Auto-hide Unity Launcher will not
I have had this problem occur when upgrading from Kubuntu 13.10 to
14.04.
On rebooting after the upgrade completed successfully I am unable to log
in, I receive the error at the encryption password screen:
"evms_activate not available" and my encryption pass phase is not
accepted.

Hi, the fix works if user has non-IBus entry in addition to user's
preferred IBus engine. However on clean install of trusty, only one
entry "Japanese(Anthy)" is registered automatically in Japanese case.
This behaviour is not sufficient for users, IMHO. I also posted a

I can provide some additional info:
Suspending works as it should, no problem here.
However on hibernation it just boots up as always (if it wasn't hibernated),
then I get an apport message
The problem seems to be the stupid default neveau video driver. I
installed NVidia binary X.Org driver ('current' driver) from the
software center and it now resumes ok from suspend.

Reviewing the files from your upgrade attempt you seem to have enabled
the xorg-edgers-ppa. This will prevent the upgrade as that PPA contains
different versions of packages essential to Ubuntu. The page,
noskcaj, your branch should be created from session-migration then you
can request a merge

thank you very much for your effort to resolve this issue. I have
version 1.0.1-0ppa~trusty3 installed and it actually works great :-)
There is still a little issue left, onboard does not work in combination
with the wacom driver, when I try to log in (unity-greeter). After I
